Making Money Online
Starting your own business, working from home – it’s about being your own boss, being in control, being home instead of some boring office – but it’s also about making money, right?
If you do a search about making money online, you’ll get all kinds of results. Tons.
Some of it will be scams and garbage. Guaranteed.
Some of it won’t.
How can you tell the difference?
Well, first if someone promises you something outrageous – make a million dollars in a week – run far away. Most likely, that’s a scam.
The truth is that to make money online you have to work – really hard – especially at first. There are no get rich quick schemes that really work.
There are some ways that you can begin, though, that don’t cost a lot and may earn you some money. Maybe you can use that money to finance your own business.
I would start by figuring out what you want your business to be about. You need to narrow down your choices, find a target market, etc. (This is all covered in Moms Biz Kits Tool Kits, including the first one you get free.)
Once you’ve decided on a topic, you will need something to promote. Head on over to Click Bank and sign up. It’s free. (You can read more about Clickbank here.)
Now look for one or two products that you feel would be of interest to your target market and click on create hoplink to get the html code.
Another way to do the same thing is to find websites that offer products that you think your target market would be interested in. Look and see if they offer an affiliate program. If so, sign up and get your code.
OK, so you have a product or two that you like and the code to go with it. Now what?
Now you start using that code everywhere you go. When you post on Twitter or Facebook or a forum, mention the product and add a link with your code. (The code is how you get credit for the sale.) Do the same thing with your emails.
You have the potential to make some money online this way. Not a million dollars, but you could make some decent cash if you really work at it and are active online.
The cool thing is that you haven’t spent a dime.
